Spanish Coast and Montserrat

This is a closer view of the main altar of the Montserrat Basilica. It is very elaborate with everything done in gold tint, gold mosaic tiles and carved marble. The artwork on the ceiling of the dome near the statue of Our Lady of Monserrat, known as the Black Madonna, is of the four archangels. It is just amazing whichever way you look.
